History of Connecting

These days, everyone is networking, and for most, it has become almost a daily routine. What seems ordinary today was different in the past. What constitutes contemporary networking has its roots in history.

This book seeks to explore the origins of modern net- working. We will visit 20 eras that have shaped con- temporary networking. Each period is presented in a straightforward manner and is accompanied by a true (sometimes with a twist) story, based on histori- cal archives or interviews.
